14/10/2012

Located in the Aranburu neighbourhood, this emblazoned house is made up of two adjoining buildings, one significantly higher than the other.

Taking the road GI-3802 that leads to the hermitage of San Cristobal, next to the Ibaiondo center after about 2km there is a track on the right that leads to the farmhouse after an ascent of about 200m. It was restored in 2006.

Also known as “Areizaga Torrea”, it is located in the neighbourhood of Aranburu.

This emblazoned house is made up of two adjacent buildings, one significantly higher than the other. The higher one has a hipped roof, whilst the lower one has a gabled roof.  The main facade has two semicircular arches, closed by two doors that give access to the vestibule. In the centre of the main facade, under the eaves of the roof, is the original coat of arms of the Areizaga noble family.
