Ezkio has two crosses; this one is in the centre of the town next to Apaiztegi farmhouse.
It is made entirely of sandstone on two round steps and a square pedestal, whose four sides have a carved horizontal rhombus.
The cylindrical shaft is 2.33 m long and has a ribbed surface with striations.
The Corinthian capital is decorated with acanthus leaves. The cross-section is square and the front side depicts Jesus crucified whilst the back depicts the Virgin Mary with her baby in her arms.
The total height of the cross is 4.50 m.
